Arena scheduling approaches

Arena scheduling is approaching causing freshman, sophomores, and juniors to stress about their schedule for next year. The juniors are figuring out what credits they will still need for graduation.

Juniors will have arena scheduling available to them first. It will be opening for next year’s seniors at 3 pm on April 26th and will close at 11:59 pm on April 29th. There will be registration assistance in the Media Center (library) on April 26th from 3:00-4:00 pm.

The current sophomores will have arena scheduling start on April 30th at 3 pm. It will close on May 1st at 11:59. The Media Center will again hold assisted scheduling on April 30th from 3:00-4:00 pm.

Finally, freshman will have arena scheduling opened on May 2nd at 4 pm. It will close at 11:59 pm on May 3rd. The assisted scheduling will again be in the Media Center from 4:00-5:00 pm on May 2nd.

Arena scheduling will reopen for all students on May 6th at 1:00 pm and will close on May 10th at 11:59 pm. There will not be an assisted scheduling held.

From June 3rd to August 9th, arena scheduling will be wide open for all students again.

Most students strongly dislike arena scheduling.

Keora Anderson, a senior, said, “I am so glad I don’t have to do arena scheduling anymore.”

“I think that arena scheduling is very chaotic and does not necessarily work in your favor if you want to take a bunch of AP classes,” says Irena Weed, a junior at Riverton High.
