The NFL offseason is already off to a quick start, and there is still a lot that needs to be settled.

Just like any other sport, during the off-season free agents have the ability to sign with a different team. 2019 has a lot of big name free agents, and it should make for a interesting offseason.

Odell Beckham got things started and not as a free agent. The Browns traded safety Jabrill Peppers and two draft picks for the star wide receiver. This immediately makes the Browns a team to watch for next season. Odell will be playing next to his high school and college teammate Jarvious Laundry again, and he seems to be excited about that. Ryan Gannaway shared his feelings about Odell saying, “The Browns are gonna be insane and exciting to watch.”

Former Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown also was facing a decision this off season, and he decided to sign with the Raiders. Brown has been one of the most dominant players in the league for the past few years.

Le’veon Bell was also a free agent. Bell sat out last season for the Steelers, demanding more money. The running back has decided to take his talents to the big city and play for the Jets. When asked about his thoughts on Bell, Parker Hansen said, “He should help out the Jets offense.”

With the draft around the corner it is interesting to see how teams will align their draft board with the free agents that are available. Some of the best available players to still pick up are Ndamukong Suh, Eric Berry, and former BYU Cougar Ezekiel Ansah.

One of the most interesting free agents this offseason was former Eagles quarterback Nick Foles. He was not the starter for Philadelphia but had a major part in winning a super bowl when starting quarterback Carson Wentz got hurt. Foles decided to sign with Jacksonville for 88 million, and it should be a good fit for him.
