The rivalry between the Crimson Tide and the Tigers is one of long history. Since 1900 these two collegiate football teams have been battling it out, and, although Clemson bested the Crimson Tide in their first couple outings back in the day, Alabama’s overall record against Clemson totals out to 14-4.

In fact, the last time Clemson beat the Crimson Tide was in the 2017 National Championship. Clemson only won by only four points, but it was enough to roll over the Tide.

Through the 21st century, there have been lots of schools that have held power rankings. These powerhouse teams are known for marking their place with high placings in the playoffs until either winning or losing towards the end of a decent run. More often than not, however, under Alabama head coach Nick Saban, they’ve managed to be able to keep the number one spot and create one great dynasty.

There are lots of people that aren’t at all excited for this game. It’s a repeat of the last three years of battle and the third championship matchup for both teams. Following both qualifying matchups to lead both teams to this matchup, lots of college football fans have decided not to watch because of the staleness.

About the game Stuart Burbridge said, “Um, I probably won’t watch the game. I might check the scores, but I’d rather have two different teams play than who is again.”

On the same subject Georgia Simkulet stated, “I don’t really even watch football, but I’d assume that’d be really boring seeing the same thing again and again.”
