Taylor Swift has made it quite clear that she is no longer the innocent and bubbly girl that has won the hearts of many fans. She had completely wiped her social media and set the mood for her 6th album with posting a video of a snake. She has placed the blame of her behavior on others. The question is, who is she blaming exactly?

Her lyrics to “Look What You Made Me Do” point fingers to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian and the drawn out and unresolved drama with the “Famous” lyrics.

Although she is well known for writing about ex boyfriends, her first released hit from “Reputation” is pure shade and accusation. The New York Times suggests that it is more about a transaction than a relationship.

It was released just a couple days after winning a sexual assault case with a radio host who had groped her during a meet and greet. She had been sued for making “false accusations” but since she had won the case, she wasn’t charged.

“Reputation is all about Taylor finally owning up to the media and everyone who is talking bad about her. Reputation basically throws shade at all of the people who did her wrong in this situation. In ‘Call It What You Want’, Taylor admits that she’s also at fault too.” Ahlam Barakat tells me.

Swift is going through a big personal change. She is tired of been looked upon as a innocent, naive girl and being taken advantage of. Taylor is done with people walking all over her and not being taken as seriously as she would like.

Although she has told us that the old Taylor Swift is “dead”, I believe she has just hidden her old self from the media and others, and replaced it with a tougher persona, who is willing to destroy herself in order to hurt someone who has done her wrong.
